The Altmuehl bike path showcases a stunning landscape to those who ride on it, with its end points of Rothenburg - known around the world, be it in the United States or in Japan - and Regensburg, a UNESCO world heritage site and perhaps Germany’s most beautiful city. In Between, you’ll find the Franconian lake district and the Altmuehl valley nature park. On this shortened tour, the daily stages are longer and cycling takes centre stage.
